Indications: Influenza, colds, gastroenteritis, peptic ulcer, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, colitis, food poisoning, etc..
According to most of the pharmacopoeias, the roots and rhizomes of Glycyrrhiza (one of the ingredients in this formula), has expectorant properties which facilitate the removal of mucus in upper respiratory tract; also has healing properties of gastric ulcers and reduces gastric secretions, which justifies its use as an adjunct in the treatment of chronic gastritis and spasmodic pain. Is also indicated by their anti-inflammatory and mineralocorticoid. Finally being awarded mild laxative properties.
