Uses:
Distension of the lower abdomen (during menstruation)
Frequent menstruation, 3-5 times per month (purplish-red or dark purple blood, with or without clots)
Metrorrhagia
Pain in the lower back during menstruation
Pain of the abdomen without induration
Pain of the lower abdomen
Palpable masses in the abdomen, with or without pain
TCM Actions:
Calms pain of the abdomen
Tonifies the Middle Burner
Warms the Middle Burner
T.C.M.Indications:
Spasmodic pain of the abdomen due to consumptive Deficiency.
Internal injury due to consumption leads to Cold from Deficiency of the Middle Qi.

Pale tongue, white coating

Bai Shao Yao (Radix Paeoniae Lactiflorae)
